As part of the personal branding task, I tried designing my own logos for my creative enterprise. I think these logos definitely show what my creative enterprise is based around and also is quite eye catching, to an extent. To improve the logos created, I have thought about how I could change the name because the 'S' in 'Jasmin' was created using an F hole from a violin (or other orchestral string instrument) and I'm not sure if that makes sense being an 'S'.
When creating my creative enterprise branding, I thought about which colours i'd want to use after looking at the image of branding colours on the Level 4 Creative Enterprise Blog. The colours I have thought about using in my branding are; Orange or Purple.
I have chosen Orange as one of the colours that could feature in my personal branding because it's not only my favourite colour, but according to the colour sheet (seen below) it could, for example, represent freedom or motivation. I think freedom and motivation were both good examples to choose, because I believe that Music brings a sense of freedom, as it allows people to sort of 'escape reality' as you listen to it, or even as you perform. I chose Motivation because Music has been proven to help and motivate people. It is used for relaxation or even therapy and many musicians are considered to be motivational or as big influences for the younger generation, or any generation.
I chose purple because it could represent things like creativity and fantasy. I have chosen the word fantasy because, to some extent, it represents the idea that something is fictional. I think this allows a sense of adventure and allows you to explore new ideas that could create a sense of making the impossible, possible. The word "creativity" is something that is usually linked with subjects like music or the creative arts. Being "creative" allows a person to explore new or imaginative ideas and bring them into reality, which sort of links with the word "fantasy." Both words allow people to create and be imaginative. In the Music Industry you need to be quite imaginative with creating songs or pieces, as your intentions are to create something that would attract the attention of your audience. Being imaginative also allows you to come up with ideas for music videos, which could mean that you have the ability introduce something like a sense of fantasy into a reality.
